We are looking for an HR Business Partner to the Stena AB Headquarters in Gothenburg.

Stena is in an exciting period of change, when it comes to digitalization and implementation of new ways of working.

The People team is important, and we need to build a competence of strong people and business skills to be able to support the organizational changes and drive our exciting projects. We are 4 people in total at the HR department.

What will you do?
You will work on all HR matters within our corporate units. We work in close cooperation with 10 different companies where we support the MD/Business head. Your main mission is to support the execution of our HR goals, by driving, influence and advice on all people aspects such as organization change, structures, people processes and business improvement initiatives. We also work closely together with the HR departments within Stena AB to share internal HR projects and initiatives.

The role:
You will be working with HR matters in a broad sense and you enjoy problem solving. You will work both on a strategic and operational level. You will challenge and guide managers in the areas of employee development, performance, employee relations, annual appraisals and HR issues. Leadership and competence development are an important part of the job. An important task is also to guard and implement HR policies and legislative changes. One mission is to make pension and insurance an interesting area to focus on. As the single point of contact for managers in our functions you will have the opportunity to make change happen.

Who are you?
Your personality is very important. We are looking for someone with a can-do mind-set that has a lot of drive and energy for improvements and change. You can to deal with complex matters as well as day to day issues. You are not afraid of challenging managers to think outside the box. You have strong interpersonal and social skills and you can communicate both with managers as well as employees on different levels in the organization. Your personality in combination with your ability to work both on an operational and strategic level will make you achieve great things. As a person you are positive, persistent and have a high integrity. You are always perceived as a professional and have both a people- and business-oriented mindset.

The must-have’s:
Bachelor degree or equivalent within HR with five to ten years of experience from working as an HR Business Partner or similar HR-role, preferable from a matrix organization. Fluent in Swedish and English, both written and spoken, and experienced user of MS Office. It is a merit if you have been working with an HCM system since we are working on a system implementation at the moment.
